* You don’t need a visa for Japan if you have a Malaysian passport.

* Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results is not required for vaccinated travelers with a booster dose.

Travelers are recommended to register via email on the Visit Japan Web before arriving in Japan. Travelers must obtain QR codes and present each QR code at immigration and customs on arrival.
